It is back to school in south Africa
today and I would like to shout out to all the parents, guardians and
caregivers who were able to make it at the start of the 2017 school year. I extend
solidarity to the people of the English-speaking part of Cameroon where I hail
from because they are not able to go to school since Monday. What I prepared to
talk on today is FOCUS.
For children, they need a lot of
motivation from us parents and other adults in order to meet their goals for
the year. It could be academic, it could be physical or even social. Involved
parenting will help you with a support structure for your children.
Adults need a lot of self-motivation
and external encouragement to be able to meet up as well. I encourage that we
think and talk positive most of the times.
Businesses need a lot of focus to pay
us the money that we need. As such, we need to be motivated enough to focus on
generating positive vibes that will translate to positive energy in the
workplace.
Individuals need a lot of focus for houses
to function well, we need rules and values. For businesses to function well, we
need rules and values. For governments to function well, we need rules and
values.
Let’s focus on the positive and a
motivated mindset in order to reach our goals. I blow a kiss to all committed
and motivated individuals out there. But I extend a hug to courageous and
motivated parents. One love.
